Two Planning applications were submitted for residential development on the site. The first application was for a 10-unit scheme which was refused planning permission. Subsequent to the refusal of planning permission an appeal was lodged and a 5-unit scheme was submitted for consideration. The 5-unit scheme was granted planning permission and the 10-unit scheme was granted planning permission on appeal.
