Frith Park, Walton-on-the-Hill
Client: Reside Developments and Urban Green Developments
LPA: Reigate and Banstead Borough
The site was formerly in employment and agricultural use and currently comprises a derelict locally listed mansion and redundant industrial and agricultural buildings, many of which are Grade II listed.
The consent allows for the demolition of the industrial buildings, restoration of the Grade II listed buildings, refurbishment of the locally listed mansion (to provide 11 homes) and the construction of 26 new homes together with significant new landscaped areas.
Jonathan Lieberman (Associate Director) states “Reside and Urban Green Developments have progressed an innovative and sensitively designed scheme that respects the site’s Green Belt location. The benefits of the proposal include the provision of high quality housing, restoration of heritage assets, removal of unsightly buildings and landscape enhancements across the site, including to the historic parkland. This has been a very rewarding project to work on and it is now hoped that development will commence in the coming months with completion in Spring 2018”.
