Boyer achieves Planning Consent at Arborfield Green
We are delighted to announce Planning Consent for Crest Nicholson Chiltern at Arborfield Green in Berkshire has been achieved.
We are delighted to have secured Reserved Matters approval on behalf of Crest Nicholson Chiltern, for the next phase of the Arborfield Green development.
The 2 hectare site (known as Parcel V2N), is part of the Arborfield Garrison Strategic Development Location (SDL) and is former Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) land. When complete, Arborfield Green, will provide a new sustainable Garden Village, with 2,000 new homes, a district centre, a neighbourhood centre, a primary and secondary school, community and sporting facilities, public open space, and other associated infrastructure.
The planning permission for Parcel V2N granted by Wokingham Borough Council, will provide 73 new homes, ranging from one bedroom apartments to five bedroom houses and will include 15 affordable homes in accordance with the S106 Agreement for the development.
Lucy Anderson, Principal Planner in Boyer’s Wokingham office said, “We are pleased to have assisted Crest Nicholson and the project team in reaching this positive outcome which will support the continued delivery of critical residential development on this important strategic site for Wokingham Borough”.
In achieving planning success, Boyer worked alongside Pegasus (architects), i-transport (highways), AECOM (drainage, ecology and engineering), SJA Trees (trees) and Murdoch Wickham (landscape).
